Talib Kweli disse no seu Twitter que artistas como Kendrick Lamar, Run The Jewels ou Anderson .Paak estão a caminho de se tornarem lendas. O rapper de Brooklyn esteve bastante interactivo na plataforma social e respondeu a um tweet que dizia que hoje em dia não existiam artistas que fizessem frente a Rakim, A Tribe Called Quest, Pharcyde ou Bahamadia.
A velha questão de que o que se fazia antigamente é que era bom foi o ponto de partida para algumas respostas interessantes de Kweli. Ao lado dos nomes acima mencionados como futuras lendas, o MC nomeou também Rapsody, Joey Bada$$, Chance The Rapper, J. Cole e Drake para nomes que vão ficar na história. A cara-metade de Mos Def nos Black Star teceu ainda algumas considerações pertinentes sobre a facilidade de acesso à música e tentou ir mais a fundo na falsa questão de que a música feita actualmente não é tão boa.
